The petitioner, Vijay Pratap Singh, had challenged the privatisation in Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Ltd (DVVNL) and Purvanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Ltd (PVVNL) by citing certain communications of UP Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) in this connection.
