|March 02, 2025
The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) that was dissolved in November last year would be constituted in 15 days, said Rajani Patil, newly appointed All India Congress Committee (AICC) in-charge for party affairs in Himachal Pradesh, on Saturday.
SHIMLA: She held a series of meetings in two days with party leaders and workers in Shimla. "The restructuring process will include representatives from all communities and social groups. We will be going by 'one person, one post' principle," she said.
Patil clarified that there would be no immediate change in the HPCC presidency. The HPCC was dissolved by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on November 6 along with the district and block units with immediate effect. Only HPCC president Pratibha Singh was allowed to continue whose three-year term will end in April 2025.
