Murmu nominates four to Rajya Sabha

President Droupadi Murmu has nominated Ujjwal Nikam, special public prosector in the 26/11 terror attack case; former foreign secretary Harsh Shringla; C Sadanandan Master, a schoolteacher from Kerala and historian Meenakshi Jain to the Rajya Sabha, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged the nominations on social media platform X, writing: “Shri Ujjwal Nikam’s devotion to the legal field and to our Constitution is exemplary.”
