PUNE: A 37-year-old man who allegedly raped a 26-year-old woman inside a bus at Pune's Swargate bus station was arrested in the Shirur area of the district on Friday, police said.
Pune police detained the accused, Dattatray Gade, around midnight, an official said.
Gade, who was out on bail since 2019 in a robbery case, faces multiple cases of theft and chain snatching in Pune and Ahilyanagar district.
According to police, the accused allegedly raped the woman in a parked state transport bus at the Swargate bus stand in Pune in the early hours of Tuesday.
