States Intensify Efforts to Identify Pak Nationals

Various state governments on Saturday intensified their efforts to identify Pakistani nationals residing on short-term visas following the Union government's directive to send them back to their country, a decision taken in the aftermath of the April 22 brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives.
NEW DELHI:
The government has announced the revoking of all visas issued to Pakistani nationals (except long-term visas and diplomatic and official visas) from April 27.
