Pocso Court Grants 15-Year RI To Man For Raping 17-Year-Old

A 23-year-old man was granted 15-year rigorous imprisonment by a Pocso court in Pithoragarh district on Tuesday for raping a minor and threatening her parents.
RUDRAPUR:
"The court has sentenced a man to 15-year rigorous imprisonment for raping a minor and threatening her parents. The court also ordered the government to provide compensation of ₹5 lakh to the survivor," Prem Singh Bhandari, government counsel, said.
