Fest shines light on food, culture of our neighbour

Liaquat Ali Khan's former palatial residence transformed into a museum, a meena bazaar, a kebab gali, and everything in between - as dozens of diplomats along with their families took a sunny day stroll in the lanes of the vibrant culture of the neighbouring country of Pakistan.

Located on Tilak Marg, Pakistan House, originally the residence of Pakistan's first prime minister Khan, put together a festival to celebrate the country's culture, art and heritage, paired with a lunch.
The building's entrance presented a welcome sight of art, books and carpets, designed and produced by Pakistani artists. Also displayed was a series of photographs of locations such as the Saif-ul-Muluk lake of Kaghan valley, Dharmarajika Stupa of Taxila, and the Lahore fort among others.
