Uttar Pradesh chief secretary Manoj Kumar Singh ‘on Wednesday directed officials from various departments to ensure foolproof arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposed visit to Kashi on August 2, warning them against any form of negligence.

The chief secretary, along with director general of police (DGP) Rajiv Krishna, chaired a virtual meeting to review preparations for the visit.
