Man Performs Self-Surgery, Hospitalised

A 32-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh's Vrindavan was hospitalized after he allegedly tried to perform self-surgery to cure himself of appendicitis by watching YouTube videos, people aware of the matter said.
AGRA:
Dr Shashi Ranjan, in-charge of emergency ward at Combined District Hospital in Vrindavan, where the man was initially admitted, said, "Prima facie it appears that Raja Babu had gone for a "self surgery". He made an incision of 7 centimetres by 1 centimetre. However, when things appeared to be going out of hand, he made an unsuccessful attempt to stitch the cut with plastic threads."
