Accused in Saif attack case seeks bail, claims booked in false case

The Bangladeshi national arrested for allegedly stabbing actor Saif Ali Khan after breaking into his Bandra house this January moved a court for bail claiming he has been implicated in the case.
MUMBAI:
In a plea before the sessions court on Friday, the accused Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, said "the first information report (FIR) is patently false and a false case has been registered against him".
He also said the police had not informed him the grounds of his arrest as mandated in law thus violating his fundamental rights.
