SC COLLEGIUM PROPOSES ELEVATION OF 7 JUDGES

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court collegium, headed by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna, has recommended names of seven judges as permanent judges in three high courts.

The collegium, also comprising justices BR Gavai and Surya Kant, held its meeting on Thursday and passed three resolutions for appointing seven judges as permanent judges in high courts of Punjab and Haryana, Karnataka and Delhi.
