No bail for trio accused of attacking shopkeeper for protection money

A Panchkula sessions court has rejected the anticipatory bail applications of three men accused of violently assaulting a shopkeeper for refusing to pay protection money.
PANCHKULA: Amandeep Singh, 27, Mandeep, 22, and Yogesh, 27, all residents of Panchkula, face charges under Sections 115, 3(5), 333, and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), following an incident on March 14, 2025.
