Couldn't clean Yamuna, fix roads; will keep trying: AAP

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday acknowledged that the Delhi government has been unable to fulfil three key promises he had made in the run-up to the 2020 assembly elections—cleaning the Yamuna, providing 24x7 clean drinking water to all residents, and making the city's roads match European standards.
NEW DELHI: However, he said, work is underway in order to ensure all three guarantees are carried out, and urged the people of Delhi to vote the AAP back to power in the upcoming elections on February 5.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) dismissed his remarks, accusing Kejriwal of "fooling" the people of Delhi by "lying" about these issues for more than a decade. Kejriwal was speaking at a public gathering in the Laxmi Bai Nagar area of New Delhi—the constituency where he is a candidate.
