The tree that fell in Two Parks, Torquay
A 150-YEAR-OLD tree in a park in Torquay fell during stormy conditions last week, damaging cars and blocking a street.
The tree, in Two Parks, topped over around 9.30am. The tree, which a witness said was 100 feet high, fell onto a garage and two cars. It blocked Solsbro Road near St Agnes Lane.
