HELLO and welcome to Thought for the Week.
When the first Christians spread the good news of Jesus, they were at pains to point out that they weren't spreading their own wisdom, clever words, or ideas that they had thought out for themselves.
The apostle Paul was well-educated, yet he reminded the Christians at Corinth: "And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God" (1 Corinthians 2:1).
