Dementia campaigner is thrilled after taking crown

A dementia awareness campaigner from Hamilton has been crowned Miss Great Britain Glasgow.

Twenty-year-old Jenna Kinnaird, an accounts assistant who volunteers for Kilbryde Hospice, triumphed among a bevy of beauties in the glitzy ceremony at Larkhall’s Radstone Hotel.

Jenna raised hundreds of pounds for Dementia UK after her beloved gran’s sudden diagnosis last Christmas and is passionate about using her platform to raise awareness of the heartbreaking disease.

The brunette stunner, who also competed in the pageant last year, has now secured a place in the Miss Great Britain national final in October.
