Residents plant Neem trees to save the environment

A group of residents including children as young as 6 years old, housewives and men of all age groups have participated in a tree plantation drive to play their role in the efforts to save the environment around their community and make Dubai a green city.
The first phase of the tree plantation drive was carried out in Sahara Meadows located in Jebel Ali, Dubai by PCT Humanity with the support of its volunteers and area residents.
Joginder Salaria, Founder of PCT Humanity and resident of Dubai for the last over 30 years, while talking to Gulf Today said that the tree plantation drive would continue throughout the summer and cover different residential areas especially gated communities.
