Rahul amplifies allegations of vote theft, calls Modi 'weak PM'

Rahul Gandhi, India's leading opposition figure, has reiterated his allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming that he won the elections by "stealing votes," and opened a new front in his attack against the main political rival.

Talking to reporters in Wayanad on Saturday, the Congress leader stated that he plans to present evidence proving that Modi has engaged in vote theft to secure election victories.

He also took to X to launch a strong attack on Modi after Donald Trump imposed a $100,000 annual fee for visas for skilled foreign workers, which significantly impacts Indian professionals.

The leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, the lower house, shared an old post from 2017, stating, "India has a weak PM," and included screenshots of related news articles.

He reiterated, "I repeat, India has a weak PM," and shared another article discussing the US decision on H-IB visas, which is expected to affect thousands of Indian applicants.

Rahul's remarks suggest potentially significant political developments, although he did not provide specific details.

His comments come as political tensions rise, with Congress increasing scrutiny of alleged mismanagement and corruption by the government at both the federal and state levels.
