Punjab CM opens ‘Clinics on Wheels’ project

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the second phase of the “Clinics on Wheels” project in Lahore.
The “Clinics on Wheels” are now ready to serve all districts and urban areas of the province.
Maryam said that improvements are underway in the healthcare sector and that her full focus is on providing free medical treatment to the people in the province. The Punjab government has achieved another milestone in the health sector, said Maryam.
“It was always my dream to provide quality healthcare to the poor at their doorstep,” said Maryam. “This project is a continuation of the public service vision of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif. In contrast, the people of Punjab were neglected over the past four years, with even cancer patients denied essential medicines.”
