President awards US envoy the 1st Class Order of Zayed II

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, awarded Martina Strong, US Ambassador to the UAE, the First Class Order of Zayed II, in recognition of her efforts during her tenure in the country and her contributions to developing and strengthening strategic relations between the two countries in various fields.

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, presented the order to the ambassador during a reception in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

Sheikh Mohamed expressed his best wishes to the ambassador and praised her prominent role in strengthening the strategic relations between the UAE and the United States.

For her part, Martina Strong expressed her deep appreciation and thanks to His Highness the President of the UAE, for this honour, emphasizing the depth of the strategic relations between the two countries.

Recently, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, received Martina Strong at his majlis in Abu Dhabi.

The visit came as part of her farewell courtesy call at the conclusion of her official tenure in the country. She came to extend her greetings and express her gratitude for the support she received during her service in the UAE.
