Hamriyah Port fire brought under control

The Local Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Sharjah confirmed that the fire that broke out at Hamriyah Port at 6:10am on Saturday due to the ignition of petrochemical materials was completely brought under control following a rapid field response, high level of preparedness, institutional integration, and precise execution.
Major General Abdullah Mubarak Bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police and Head of the Local Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team, explained that the specialised teams were able to fully bring under control the fire at exactly 6:25am on Sunday within 24 hours of its outbreak.
