Company obliged to pay employee Dhs496,692

The Abu Dhabi Labour Court of First Instance obliged a company to pay an employee Dhs496,692 after he had been working for it for about 16 years, but failed to pay his dues, which included his monthly salary for 16 months in addition to his end-of-service gratuity.

The employee filed a lawsuit against the company he worked for, in which he requested obliging it to pay him his salaries in the amount of Dhs395,945, and the end of service gratuity in the amount of Dhs169,118, for the period of his work from 2009 to 2025, and the fees of the printing centre, Dhsl,050.

The employee said that he resigned in 2025, and he had been working for the company under an employment contract with a total salary of Dhs24,200 and a basic salary of Dhs12,000.
