All progress must focus on people: President, VP

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday received His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

The meeting addressed a range of national issues related to the UAE's priorities and objectives, with a focus on placing people at the centre of development and strengthening the foundations of sustainability.

Discussions also covered efforts to enhance the UAE's global competitiveness across key sectors in line with the country’s vision to build a more prosperous, advanced, and sustainable future.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region; Sheikh Saif Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Suroor Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Lt. General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Khalid Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Authority for People of Determination.
