Al Ain records 49.1°C, fog likely today: NCM
Gulf Today
|June 15, 2025
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said that light fog may form over select coastal and inland areas on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
This can be attributed to the impact of weak surface pressure systems within the country, coinciding with the extension of a high pressure system in the upper atmosphere.
Concurrently, the maximum temperature recorded in the country was 49.1°C in Sweihan (Al Ain) on Saturday at 12:30 PM local time.
The NCM has also stated that maximum temperatures are expected to range between 35 and 48°C, and minimums between 23 and 33°C.
The weather forecast for Sunday is that it will be generally clear, with some parts of the east of the country experiencing intermittent cloud cover.
