Woman found sitting beside father's decomposed body

It echoes 2015 case, where family lived for months with remains

In a chilling reminder of Kolkata's infamous Robinson Street case, police on Monday recovered the decomposed body of a 64-year-old man from a locked home in Kasba's Bosepukur area while his wife and daughter sat beside the corpse.

The deceased, identified as Sumit Sen, had reportedly been dead for several days. His wife, Archana Sen, and daughter Sampriti were found inside the same room, showing no intention of reporting the death, police said. The body has been sent for autopsy.

According to police, preliminary inquiries indicate that all three family members had been suffering from mental health issues for a long time.
