Pre-owned gold rolexes see rise in demand

Demand for pre-owned gold Rolex watches is climbing sharply as precious metal prices soar and collectors shift focus to more formal timepieces, Bloomberg reported.

Three gold models from the Swiss luxury brand have seen the steepest climbs in rankings since the 2022 launch of the Bloomberg Subdial Watch Index, which tracks the 50 most-traded watches by transaction value.

Leading the surge is the yellow-gold Day-Date 228238, which retails for €43,800 ($48,050), jumping from 30th to ninth place.
