Duped by wife, bank manager loses Dh100,000 and his job

Woman previously misappropriated Dh150,000 from firm

A Keralite bank manager in Sharjah reportedly lost his job and now faces legal action after being scammed by his own wife, who allegedly duped him out of Dh100,000 and has a history of similar fraud.

The shocking case was revealed by Youseph Sagheer, managing committee member of the Indian Association Sharjah (IAS). Sagheer, who also leads the association's R.I.S.E. initiative tackling domestic crisis and social issues, said the woman has defrauded not just her husband but several others.
