Dubai Summer Surprises cuts minimum spend for gold raffles

MOVE AIMS TO BOOST PARTICIPATION AS GOLD PRICES REMAIN NEAR RECORD HIGHS
This Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), gold shoppers will be paying less to enter the popular raffle draw.
The minimum spend required to enter the raffle has been reduced to Dh1,000, “to make the raffles more accessible to a wider range of consumers”, said Tawhid Abdullah, Chairman of the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group. “This means even someone purchasing as little as 2 grams of gold can participate.”
DSS 2025 will run from June 27 to August 31.
The Dubai gold price was at Dh375.25 a gram for 22 carat yesterday afternoon, holding steady despite the new tensions after the US hits on Iran nuclear sites on Saturday.
