Matson and Crypts to face off at Kingsholm for Junior Cup final

MATSON II will face Old Cryptians in the final of the North Gloucester Com-bination Junior Cup at Kingsholm on May 25.

Matson beat Longlevens II 29-21 in their semi-final with Cryptians 43-24 winners at Chosen Hill II.
The men in black led 12-0 at half-time with two tries for Josh Claxton, one converted by Liam Keating.
In the second half, Claxton com-pleted his hat-trick and DJ Collier and Jack Knight added further tries, with Keating kicking another conversion.
Longlevens scored and converted three tries, but it was too little too late.
Ahat-trick from Will Trumper helped Cryptians into the final, with George price, Rob Trigg, Oli Baker and Rhys Blackford also crossing. Trumper with four conversions.
Matson’s Senior Cup semi-final has been moved again, to Tuesday April 29 at Chosen Hill, with Longlevens await-ing the winners in the final.
