Sy optrede word geïnterpreteer as inmenging met munisipale administrasie, wat stryk teen die gedragskode vir raadslede.
Volgens 'n persverklaring van raadslid Rosa Louw van Good aan die media, het Lento net opgetree volgens sy mandaat, en sy wyk verteenwoordig as 'n raadslid, soos wat van hom verwag word.
