Cold Wave Grips Karnataka as Temperatures Dip Across the State

A sharp drop in temperatures has brought a cold wave across Karnataka, even as rainfall has significantly reduced after more than seven months of continuous showers.

Weather officials indicate that while major rainfall activity has subsided, some regions may still witness light drizzles over the next month. Over the past week, temperatures have seen a steady decline statewide, with both morning and night conditions turning markedly colder. Maximum and minimum temperatures have dropped by 2-3°C in many areas. Across Karnataka, the average maximum temperature now stands at 29-30°C, while the average minimum ranges between 16-18°C. Northern inland districts such
