THE first images of a massive £750,000 overhaul for Folkestone’s Lower Leas Coastal Park have been revealed, promising to transform the Southeast's largest free adventure playground by this summer.

After 25 years of service, the play area is being completely reimagined by specialist firm Proludic. The new design aims to be one of the most inclusive in the UK, featuring equipment specifically chosen so that children of all physical and sensory abilities can play alongside one another.
The “wow-factor” design focuses on high-adrenaline play mixed with calmer sensory zones. Highlights include:
Bespoke climbing structures and high-speed slides.
