Hawa Mahal tops Rajasthan tourist charts

Jaipur's iconic Hawa Mahal has emerged as Rajasthan’s most visited monument in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year, surpassing the traditionally dominant Amer Fort in a surprising shift that’s stirring discussion across the state’s tourism sector.

As per official tourism data, Hawa Mahal drew 3,23,959 visitors between April and June 2025, narrowly outpacing Amer Fort, which recorded 3,19,370 tourists. This marks a departure from past trends where Amer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, consistently topped the charts in both domestic and international footfall.
