Centre allocates 4GWh storage to Raj; CM hails green push

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Power Minister Manohar Lal for allocating a 4,000 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) to Rajasthan under the viability gap funding (VGF) scheme.

He said the move will boost the state's energy sector and support green goals. The VGF assistance, from the Power System Development Fund, includes Rs 720 crore at Rs 1
