Most Indians know that the Constitution of India is the supreme law of the land. But only a few have actually read it—let alone seen its original manuscript.

Bridging Generations with Constitutional Knowledge

Across Jaipur, a quiet but meaningful shift is happening. From curious school children to thoughtful senior citizens, more and more people are taking interest in understanding the document that defines the nation’s soul.

On asking about the Constitution of India, Divya (24), a young professional said, “I know that the Constitution of India is the legal document through which India is governed. It defines the structure and functions of the government, the rights and duties of citizens and fundamental principles that govern the country.”

“I even tried reading it once, but the language was complex and technical. I wish it was available in a simpler version so that common people like me could understand it better,” she added.
