The company is powering mega-deals through partnerships

IT MAJOR INFOSYS' pursuit of mega deals over the past two years has generated both excitement and concerns. Dinesh Rao, EVP and chief delivery officer of Infosys, has provided key insights into the company's capabilities in constructing and executing mega-deals. These include: (i) Infosys is effectively leveraging its partnership ecosystem to construct mega deals, (ii) risk and governance practices have been strengthened to avoid surprises, (iii) Focus on identification of scope creep in mega deals as part of Project Maximus, (iv) delivery organization is integrated across industries and service lines to promote efficiencies and (v) new commercial models might emerge as enterprises adopt AI. Rao further emphasized that these large-scale engagements are a natural extension of Infosys' full-stack capabilities and its distributed, global delivery model.
