Especially in HR, where AI handles high-volume tasks such as screening thousands of job applications, scheduling interviews and managing pipelines.This allows HR professionals to focus on higher-value work, such as candidate engagement, cultural fit and strategic workforce planning. AI is fundamentally changing how Indian companies hire, deploy and retain talent, but fears of large-scale job losses are overstated, said Mahe Bayireddi, CEO and co-founder of Phenom, a US-based HR tech firm that provides an intelligent talent experience platform to global enterprises.
