The much-awaited initial public offering (IPO) of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) could happen by the end of this calendar year, said sources close to the development.

This comes in the backdrop of reports suggesting that the settlement between the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in the co-location and dark fibre case is at its final stages.
