MORE INDIAN PROFESSIONALS are seeking mobility in terms of new roles but without doing job-hopping. Michael Page's Talent Trends 2025 report, which surveyed around 3,000 professionals across the country, highlighted that while active job-seeking has slightly reduced from 68% year-on-year to 65%, Indian professionals are seeking career progression through internal opportunities.

As many as 65% of Indian job seekers are not only chasing newer roles but also becoming more proactive in salary negotiations within their organizations rather than changing jobs, according to the report.
