CNG, PNG Tariffs Cut to Zone 1 Rates to Push Gas Use

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) last week approved the second amendment to the Natural Gas Pipeline Tariff Regulations, 2025. Key highlights from the order are:

PNGRB has reduced the number of pipeline tariff zones from three to two. The rationale behind the move is to make natural gas more accessible and affordable for areas which are far from the gas sources.
