Financial services see foreign outflow of $3.6 billion YTD

THE FINANCIAL SERVICES sector has seen foreign capital outflows of $3.6 billion (₹31,940 crore)—the highest among sectors—so far this year, according to fortnightly data released by the National Securities Depository.
Experts attribute this to high exposure of the sector to the capital allocated by foreign portfolio investors (FPIs).
