IndiGo introduces fuel charge on int'l, domestic routes

INDIGO AIRLINES ON Friday introduced a new fuel charge effective March 14 in response to the rising fuel costs that are impacting the aviation sector.
The country’s largest airline plans to charge its domestic customers %425 per ticket as fuel charge, while customers travelling to West Asia will be asked to pay ~900 per ticket. Similarly, passengers travelling to South East Asia, China, and Africa will have to pay ¥1,800 per ticket as fuel charge, while tourists to Europe will have to pay %2,300 per ticket.
