How pets are living the best life and are celebrities in their own right
If you're a pet lover and scroll through your social media feed every day, chances are you may have come across pets of celebrities living a luxurious life. These pets enjoy perks like high-end toys, designer clothes, even their own brand, and have become increasingly popular for their looks, lifestyle, etc. Some have evolved into global celebrities with luxury endorsements, product lines and living lives many of us would envy.
For instance, we've all had a glimpse of artist Taylor Swift's three cats - Olivia Benson, Meredith Grey, and Benjamin Button. Olivia Benson has a net worth of a whopping $97 million. The Scottish Fold earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos, has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers.
Another pet that needs a mention here is Gunther VI, the world's wealthiest dog, with a reported net worth of $400 million. A German Shepherd, Gunther lives an opulent life and has even been featured in a Netflix docu-series titled Gunther's Millions.
While Choupette, the Birman cat once owned by the late Karl Lagerfeld, enjoys a luxurious life under the care of a former nanny in Paris, with a reported net worth exceeding ₹107 crore, Oprah Winfrey's dogs are set to inherit a whopping ₹249 crore each.
