THE IPO MARKET was abuzz on Wednesday as six issues—three mainboard and three SMEs—opened simultaneously, drawing as much as ₹4,485 crore. The spotlight was on Gurugram-based Urban Company's ₹1,900 crore IPO, which was fully subscribed within just two hours, highlighting the strong demand for new-age consumer tech firms.
Demand was so strong that, excluding the ₹1,528 crore raised via the anchor book, bids were nearly three times the combined issue size.
