Deadline for white goods PLI extended

THE GOVERNMENT HAS extended the application window for the fourth round of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for white goods (air conditioners and LED lights) till November 10.
The earlierwindow for applications for the fourth round was opened on September 15 and closed on October 14.
"The application window has been extended in view of the strong industry response and increasing investment appetite under the Scheme," a statement by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) said.
