Thoughts with the family as they seek answers over death
Express and Echo
|June 19, 2025
THE details of the skydive tragedy in East Devon are pretty horrific, and understandably the family of the woman involved now wants answers.
-
Mum-of-four Belinda Taylor, 48, from Totnes, and instructor Adam Harrison, 30, from Bournemouth, did a tandem jump from a plane over Dunkeswell Aerodrome, near Honiton, on Friday afternoon.
Belinda's partner, Scott Armstrong, had bought the tandem jump as a thank you present for his girlfriend and saw the awful events unfold before finding the bodies.
He said: "I was using binoculars and saw them all jump and noticed that one chute hadn't opened. I was freaking out. They disappeared from view. I jumped in my car with my lad and raced across the fields.
"I found Belinda and the instructor lying there, still together, both clearly dead. It was a horrific sight.
"I miss her so much. I'm so lost without her. She meant the world to all of us and we'll never forget her."
