Selection headaches for Horler ahead of Oxfordshire cup clash

DEVON skipper James Horler is hoping to avoid too many selection headaches going into the National Counties Trophy clash with Oxfordshire at Abingdon on Bank Holiday Monday.
The four-game group phase of the 50-over competition got off to the best possible start for Devon with a business-like, six-wicket win over Buckinghamshire at Instow.
There's an enhanced Somerset presence in Devon's side this season with Fin Hill, Joe Heywood and Seb Linnitt all dual registered. That's not a problem for Sunday fixtures, but might be when games take place on weekdays.
Somerset's second XI start a four-day game against Warwickshire on Bank Holiday Monday, which could impact on Devon’s selection plans. Other players in the squad - Callum Harvey and Seb Allison in particular - are on the radar of Gloucestershire and Kent respectively.
