Road, rail and flights chaos as Storm Isha peaks at 99mph

TRAVELLERS suffered road, rail and air chaos today after Storm Isha battered the country with winds of up to 99mph.
Thousands of homes in Northern Ireland, Wales and North-West England were left without power and a tornado warning was issued as the storm swept in from the Atlantic. The Met Office said the top 99mph gust was recorded at Brizlee Wood in Northumberland, followed by 90mph at Capel Curig, Snowdonia.
