THE failure to find Dr Michael Mosley sooner has been branded "absurd" as questions grew today over how rescuers missed him during a four-day search.
Dr Clare Bailey Mosley described her husband's loss as "devastating" after a body was discovered yesterday morning in a rocky area near Agia Marina beach on the Greek island of Symi.
The 67-year-old, inset, went missing after leaving his wife and friends at Agios Nikolaos beach on Wednesday last week. His wife said he appeared to have undertaken an "incredible climb, took the wrong route and collapsed where he couldn't be easily seen" by emergency search teams.
