Intensive care battle for four children knifed in park horror

FOUR children including a British girl remained in intensive care today following a series of knife attacks at a park in eastern France.
Syrian refugee Abdelmasih Hanoun, 31, faces attempted murder charges following the stabbings in the playground at Lake Annecy in the Alps yesterday morning.
Two French cousins named as Ennio and Alba, both two, were attacked along with a three-year-old English girl called Ettie, who was on holiday with her parents, and a 22-month-old Dutch boy named Peter.
Ennio and Alba were in hospital in the nearby city of Grenoble, where their condition was today described as "critical". Ettie was in the same hospital and was said to be "stable", while Peter was also "stable" having been transferred to a specialist medical unit in Geneva.
